Fellowship
Building relationships among the men of the parish through meals, outings, shared work, and honest brotherhood.
Founded 1908 • Meriden, Connecticut
The Brotherhood is the men of SS. Peter & Paul serving Christ, strengthening the parish, and supporting one another as brothers.
Who we are
We are not a club off to the side. We are a brotherhood rooted in Orthodox Christian life, parish service, practical fellowship, and mutual support.
If you can give your time, your strength, your skill, your attention, or your prayers, you have something to offer.
Our framework
Building relationships among the men of the parish through meals, outings, shared work, and honest brotherhood.
Serving Christ by strengthening the parish, caring for the cemetery and grounds, and showing up when help is needed.
Offering time, strength, skill, attention, prayer, and resources for the good of the Church and the community.
Growing together in Orthodox Christian life under the blessing and pastoral guidance of the Church.
Heritage
The Brotherhood was founded in 1908 by thirteen men. In 1911, its founding members helped fund and organize the parish of SS. Peter & Paul in Meriden.
This is not nostalgia. It is a living inheritance: men taking responsibility for parish life, mutual aid, and the next generation.
Founded July 12, 1908 old calendar, on the eve of the Feast of the Chief Apostles Peter and Paul, by thirteen men under the direction of V. Rev. Constantine Buketoff.
The founding brothers financially funded and organized the parish of SS. Peter & Paul in Meriden and named it in honor of their patrons.
The Brotherhood helped carry parish life through immigrant settlement, feast days, cemetery care, social gatherings, and practical mutual aid.
